MASH Program for 8th graders

We have the wonderful opportunity of hosting the MASH Medical Academy of Science Health. Students will be introduced to the professional side of the medical field. They will have the opportunity to participate in hands one workshops and lectures. Only thirty students will be chosen for this program. Please find the application on the Columbia tab of the Yonkers Middle High School website and return to Ms. Christie Clarke in room 4033 no later than Tuesday, February 24, 2015.
Middle School Basketball Clinic
We have a wonderful opportunity to offer a free after school program. The program is available after school Mondays and Thursdays until 4:30pm. Buses will be provided to selected bus stops. To find out more information please look on the Yonkers Middle High School website under the Columbia Academy tab. All students who are currently signed up for the TASC program should come prepared to participate. Those students who wish to sign up should down the application and turn in the complete copy to Ms. Connally.
Attached is the application and the bus schedule. Please have your child circle the bus stop that is most convenient. If you don't see a stop that works well, please have them write their regular bus stop on the form. We will try to make accommodations.
Congratulations to the Following IB Visual Art Seniors who will be exhibiting their art work at the Katonah Museum of Art in the 2015 Young Artists Exhibition, Janene Pintado, Andy Ortega, Joseph Marasigan, Aida Mehovic, John Moran, Karla Cardenas, Umaima Ansari, Jacklyn Lopez, Valentina Villa, & Almeira Ozmeragic. The Opening reception will be held March 1st, from 3 to 5 pm at the museum and all are invited to attend. The artwork is outstanding!!!!
The PTSA is collecting Box Tops. Please send in your Box Tops and place in the PTSA yellow box in the main office. Deadline for submission is March 3rd.
