Young Artists 2016
Young Artists, an annual program at the Katonah Museum of Art for local high school students, now in its 33rd year, gives aspiring artists a behind the scenes experience of mounting a professional museum exhibition.
Young Artists 2016 features artwork by more than 400 local high school seniors from over 43 high schools across Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Dutchess, and Fairfield counties. Participating students not only create the artwork, but also work under the guidance of museum and art professionals to organize, publicize, curate, and mount their own exhibition.
Join us for the opening reception, celebrating the young talent emerging from our local high schools on Sunday, February 7
